Artist note
Ceramic art embodies the spirit of its time, shaped by the hands and soul of its creator. Each work carries emotions, stories, and history—formed from earth, infused with fire, and brought to life by the artist
About
I studied ceramics at Hunar Kada Art School in Islamabad, taught by Shahid Waheed,
and graduated in 1997. I have trained extensively under world-renowned artists such
as John Hesselberth, Steven Jaskowakand Paul Soldner, who was my mentor and
continues to be my inspiration. I use modern influences with ancient expressions.
I use multiple innovative hand building techniques as well. My pieces are a reflection
of my connection with nature and can be seen in the natural textures and earthly tones.

Passion in video and photography, with my mother’s art being my current muse. Filming her in the studio and capturing her work is a way for me to not only appreciate the time and effort she puts into every single one of her pieces, but also of ceramics as an art in general.
